Celia Aniskovich
Founder
Celia Aniskovich is a documentary director and producer and the founder of Dial Tone Films. Her career began in live broadcast news as an NBC Page and she brings her journalism training to everything she does.
In 2021, Aniskovich released Spy Affair, a 6-part podcast series for Wondery Originals based on the story of alleged Russian spy, Maria Butina. She also wrote, directed, and produced BURN IT DOWN!, a feature documentary about Woodstock 99, for MRC Studios/Rolling Stone that had its world premiere at the 2021 BFI London Film Festival. Her other 2021 premiers include a feature documentary she executive produced and directed for Discovery+, Fruitcake Fraud (Nominated for a Realscreen Award), and a film she produced for HBO Max, Beanie Mania. Her latest feature documentary, entitled Call Me Miss Cleo (Nominated for an Astra Award), premiered in December 2022 on HBO Max.
She currently has two short documentaries making the festival circuit: Taking Back the Groove and Facing the Falls.
Her next film is about Christmas tree salesmen in New York City. The only thing she cares about more than her films is the New York Mets.
Brandy Crawford-Uriu
Head of Unscripted and Formats
Brandy Crawford-Uriu is a development executive who has been working in unscripted television since 2005. She brings to the table a 360 degree view of the business having worked development at both the network side as a buyer and on the production company side as a seller. Prior to joining Dial Tone, Brandy was a programming and development executive at History, overseeing series hits including History’s Greatest Mysteries, Pawn Stars and Swamp People: Serpent Invasion, as well premium documentaries The Great War and Tulsa Burning: The 1921 Race Massacre. Before History she held development executive positions at Six West Media Group, Leopard USA and Tremendous Entertainment.
She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and insanely gorgeous kids and her perfect day would include her kids actually eating their dinner and any party that includes karaoke.
Leah Culton Gonzalez
Line Producer
Leah Culton Gonzalez is an accomplished Producer and Production Executive with over three decades of experience shaping some of the entertainment industry's most iconic projects. Before joining Dial Tone, Leah built and led production and post departments at Matador Content (a
Boat Rocker Company) and Original Media (later Endemol) in both New York and Los Angeles.
Throughout her career, Leah has contributed her expertise to numerous hit series, including the cultural sensation Lip Sync Battle (Paramount), the high-octane Storm Chasers (Discovery), the boundary-pushing Ink Master (Spike), and the Emmy-winning Downey’s Dream Cars (Discovery).
Her pioneering work in the premium documentary space speaks for itself, with standout Executive Producer credits such as Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields (Hulu), This is the Tom Green
Documentary (Amazon), and the critically acclaimed Banksy Does New York (HBO). Leah most recently completed and delivered the highly anticipated three-part series Sneaker Wars: Adidas v. Puma for Disney+.
In addition to her documentary success, Leah has made her mark in narrative film, serving as Executive Producer on the fan-favorite Netflix feature Nonnas.
With extensive experience across both film and television production, and a keen eye for content sales and development across multiple platforms, Leah is instrumental in taking projects from initial concept to polished delivery.
